Well, first I need to actually get my employer to agree to move me to NYC. One thing at a time. :-) I definitely need to put in some more time in the main office, because I'm still learning (a weird position to find myself in at my advanced age, but weird in a good way). After all, I haven't even been there for a year yet. But the head of our team wants me out there eventually, which bodes well. Meanwhile, I was happy to be back at my desk and into the regular daily grind today, so I'll be patient for as long as I need to be...unless the Donnell Library advertises for a cataloger in its fabulous foreign language section, that is. That would be a dream job, boy howdy.

That's fantastic, Amy! What a dream scenario—to be able to get back to NYC and keep your great job. With your employment problem taken care of, I suspect you'll be able to work out the other issues fairly easily.
